At Molly's Country Kennels - "We Treat Your Pet Like Family"

Who We Are

Until 1988, pets were but a hobby for Bob and Valerie Payne, owners of Molly's Country Kennels.  Bob taught obedience classes, showed his Golden Retrievers in obedience, took certified therapy dogs Molly and Ipso to nursing homes, and they both bred golden retrievers.  In 1988, Bob sold his collections business, and Valerie gave up her medical records administration career to purchase a boarding kennel which they named Molly's Country Kennels, after their dog Molly.  The site of the facility, a farmstead dating back to 1876, had been in use since 1950 as a breeding kennel, and subsequently as a boarding kennel.  The Payne's completely renovated the facility, and brought it up to standards for the exclusive Voluntary Facilities Accreditation with the American Boarding Kennels Association.

They have added to Molly's Country Kennels offerings obedience and agility training, retail pet supplies, a plethora of playtime activities (including swimming, pizza parties, and massage) for dogs and cats, and have expanded the grooming services to include cats as well as all breeds of dogs.  Their motto, "we treat your pet like family," is followed assiduously in all that they do.
